March 3rd, 2017 UPDATE

Fellow crew members, please familiarize yourself with Google Drive, it will be required throughout the season.     

All the information and notifications in the upper top left box of the site will take you directly to Google Drive.  Some documents are in pdf form so can not be altered. 

Other text or spreadsheet documents are meant to be completed and/or worked on by you.   

PLEASE start with 1.0 Crew Logistics and compete your section of the spreadsheet indicating when you plan to arrive in each "away" port, Annapolis, Marblehead and Sydney, before each start as well as when you plan to depart Newport, Halifax and Hobart after each finish.  This all effects hotel planning.     

It is time consuming to make all the hotel room reservations.  It's even more time consuming, and expensive, to alter or cancel because crew do not plan ahead.   There is no expectation that crew stay for all awards ceremonies by the way.   

We also need this information in order to make restaurant reservations.   As in the past, individuals may make their own travel plans or travel together by car, train or plane.  I ask that you be reasonable by booking in advance and seek cost effective ways to travel.  The program reimburses for all  travel related expenses. I prefer Venmo.             

We will be sleeping two to a room.  I expect everyone to be in port for a team dinner by latest 5 pm the night before the Annapolis and Marblehead races.     

I would like all crew to arrive in Sydney by the 22nd of December to acclimate to the timezone, summer season and the southern hemisphere.         

      

The calendar should be up and running and will soon be populated with a practice schedule, delivery schedule, race day dock-call specifics and other information.
